How to Vote

Important Dates

You are eligible to vote in Oakville’s municipal election if you are:

a Canadian citizen;
at least 18 years old;
a resident of Oakville or the owner or tenant of land in Oakville, or the spouse of such owner or tenant; and
not prohibited from voting by law.

You may only vote once in the Town of Oakville municipal election regardless of how many properties you own or rent within the Town.

Voting hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., except October 14, when locations are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
